A Few Words About Me
My name is Cherie Warwick and I’m a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist based in Springwood QLD, operating in Brisbane and Logan, whose main caseload consists of working with children and young adults.
My work revolves around cultivating a positive and enjoyable learning and growing experience. I believe in a client based approach which involves goal setting collaboratively with the client and their family.

Language
Language development includes the areas of expressive language (successfully getting a message across to others) and receptive language (accurately understanding the messages of others).
Literacy
Individuals who experience difficulty developing their reading and writing skills.

I was born in Brisbane, Queensland and received my Bachelor degree - honours in Speech Pathology from the University of Queensland. I have two grown daughters of my own and understand the joys and challenges of raising a family.
In addition to the areas of practice mentioned above I have experience working with fluency difficulties (stutter) and improving social skills.

Go Ahead Speech Pathology provides services for NDIS Self Managed and Plan Managed clients.
Medicare
Go Ahead Speech Pathology accepts clients under the Medicare Care Plan.

A referral is not necessary to engage in Speech Pathology services unless you are wanting to access services through a Medicare Care Plan. For those that qualify for a Care Plan, a referral is obtained from your GP.
